Get Involved

Youth Programs

The FoodBank has created a number of innovative programs dedicated to educating children, teens and young adults about hunger and poverty – and teaching them the tools to make change in their communities.

There are many ways for youth to get involved, either on their own or with guidance from their teachers (check out our toolkits for great ideas!).

Students Change Hunger is a statewide food and fund drive competition running from September through December.

The FoodBank also hosts several leadership-building programs for teens, including our Teen Leadership Council and our annual Teen Hunger Summit.
