Cooking for a Cause: Sweet & Savory Healthy Yogurt Dips

If you’re a mom looking for healthy snacks to give your kids, this one’s for you! Debby, the FoodBank’s Director of Corporate Relations and mother of 2, is sharing sweet and savory healthy yogurt dips that her kids enjoy.

INGREDIENTS

Savory – Cucumber-Mint Yogurt Dip

  • 12 oz. (1 1/4 cups) plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cucumber, halved, seeded, and chopped
  • 1/2 cup mint leaves, coarsely chopped
  • 1 tsp white wine vinegar
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Cut vegetables for serving

Sweet- Peanut Butter Honey Yogurt Dip

  • 6 oz. (3/4 cup) plain Greek yogurt
  • 3 tbsp creamy peanut butter
  • 3 tsp honey

INSTRUCTIONS


  • Prep the savory dip by peeling, seeding, and chopping 1/2 cucumber
  • Chop 1/2 cup mint leaves
  • Combine 12 oz. plain Greek yogurt, cucumber, mint, and 1 tsp white wine vinegar in a bowl
  • Serve with cut vegetables
  • Make the sweet dip by combining 3 tbsp peanut butter, 6 oz. plain Greek yogurt, and 3 tsp honey in a small bowl
  • Cut up apple slices
  • Serve, and enjoy!
