Fall Events To Support Our Cause

Events

Law Rocks NYC: Law Rocks, a global charity, raises funds for local nonprofits by combining music and the generosity of the legal community. 1981 (Walkers Global) will rock for the Community FoodBank of New Jersey’s Kids Cafes, which serve nourishing after-school meals to children, and Food Bank for New York City’s Campus Pantries. The band will perform at Law Rocks NYC on November 2 at the Gramercy Theatre in Manhattan. Click here to learn more and get your tickets!

Subway: The Good Deed Feed: To celebrate World Sandwich Day, Subway will run a promotion of “Buy one, Get One, Give One.”  For every sandwich and 30-ounce drink purchased on November 3, Subway will give the customer a free sandwich of equal or lesser value and donate one meal to Feeding America. 75 percent of all funds will be distributed to the local food bank where the purchase is made.

Turkey Drive: Last year, we gathered nearly 54,000 pounds of food and about 4,600 turkeys for our neighbors in need. Let’s make this year an even greater success! Donate frozen turkeys and hams, as well as holiday trimmings, at a site near you on Saturday, November 18, and Sunday, November 19. Can’t make it? Donate to our virtual Turkey Drive today!

Atlantic City Weekly’s 50 Bites+: Get your tickets for a food journey through Atlantic City! Your pass will provide more than 50 bites until November 30 — and a portion of proceeds will benefit our South Jersey hunger-relief efforts.
