Community Partner Spotlight: Ethicon

The FoodBank is glad to have partners like Ethicon who help us address hunger as a health issue by providing free fresh fruits and vegetables to struggling New Jerseyans who might not otherwise have access to them. Ethicon is one of our Leadership Impact Partners, providing generous financial support to one of our Healthy Families Farmers Markets, in partnership with the Summit Medical Group Foundation.

They also volunteer regularly at that location, the Plainfield Farmers Market at New Covenant Church of God, most recently a few weeks ago.

“It is our great pleasure to have the opportunity to support the fantastic efforts of the Community Food Bank,” said Brian Vaughn, Franchise Health Economics & Market Access Manager. “Johnson & Johnson is committed to the communities we serve through outreach and volunteering.  We had a great day working with a great organization and look forward to returning.”

During their most recent visit, Ethicon volunteers helped distribute more than 10,300 pounds of fresh produce and beverages and served about 500 households.
