The Community FoodBank of New Jersey applauds Premio Foods, the maker of fine sausage and a familiar name not only in the meat case of the grocery store but at the check-out counter, too. Premio is the state sponsor of Check-Out Hunger, the annual fundraiser that takes place every autumn at most major supermarkets and some convenience stores throughout New Jersey. This year’s Check-Out Hunger campaign, our 25th anniversary year, starts this week.
Premio’s support—both its sponsorship and its donation of more than 250,000 pounds of food annually to the FoodBank—is a great boon to our fight against hunger and poverty here in New Jersey. Thank you, Premio.
