Our Record Distribution of 44.6 Million Pounds of Food

The numbers are in, and CFBNJ distributed 44.6 million pounds of food during the year that ended June 30th, 2015, the most in our history.

That is an increase from 40.2 million pounds the previous year, up 11 percent.  And that includes another record-setting number:  8.6 million pounds of food distributed by CFBNJ’s Southern Branch in Egg Harbor Township, up from 7.6 million pounds last year.

All together, it equals more than 22,000 TONS of food in 12 months.

More than 4.7 million times a year, someone in need is fed by CFBNJ’s network of partner charities, and on behalf of everyone we serve, we thank all our supporters who helped us reach this historic level of food distribution as we work to meet the growing need.
