FoodBank Voted Best Nonprofit Organization

The Community FoodBank of New Jersey was named “Best Nonprofit Organization” by NJBIZ’s inaugural Reader Rankings survey.

According to NJBIZ, thousands of “clients, colleagues and peers of businesses in New Jersey” voted for the best organizations in 52 categories, including philanthropy, health care and real estate. “What makes the companies listed here distinct is the devotion they inspire among our region’s business leaders,” NJBIZ said.

“It is an honor to be recognized as best nonprofit in New Jersey by NJBIZ readers,” said Debra Vizzi, President and CEO of the Community FoodBank of New Jersey. “It is a testament to our team of devoted staff, board members and community of supporters who give selflessly for the 1 million hungry New Jerseyans who desperately need our help. We are following in the footsteps of our pioneer and founder Kathleen DiChiara who paved the way for this great honor. We are humbled and grateful to all who voted for our mission and values.”
