The lack of resources that defines poverty means that every day is a challenge to the people caught in its grip. A Place at the Table is a new documentary from Participant Media that will be released March 1 by Magnolia Pictures. It makes the connection between hunger in America and advocacy for public policies and programs that assure a place at the table for everyone. This new resource will help us all create the political will to address hunger. This political will—convincing our decision makers that the nation cares about hungry people and will hold our elected officials accountable— is what 2013’s Offering of Letters is all about.
