Communications Specialist

We have an exciting opportunity for a creative, curious, social media savvy storyteller who’s passionate about the issue of hunger in New Jersey, and CFBNJ’s role in delivering food, help and hope to those in need.  The Communications Specialist will raise awareness by creating compelling written and visual content about CFBNJ, its people, programs and partner charities, to reach audiences via platforms including our website, social media, e-news and printed newsletters.  The ideal candidate will be a strong social media manager with keen attention to details and deadlines, an excellent writer, and able to prioritize multiple projects.  Experience with web writing and editing is necessary.  Familiarity with video editing, Photoshop, InDesign and analytics is highly desired.

Customer Service Agency & Compliance Manager

We have a full time position available for a detailed oriented professional who will coordinate the distribution of our federal food program including conducting agency site visits.  The successful candidate will be a self-starter, possess good presentation, organization and communication skills; proficiency in Word Office Suite is required.  Must have own transportation.  Availability to work some hours on occasional Saturdays is required.

Marketing Assistant

We seek a dynamic, creative, individual looking to contribute to our growing marketing and fundraising efforts.  Some responsibilities will include helping develop our marketing materials, oversight of 3rd party special events and collaborating with our web team to help maintain fresh content.  The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is capable of managing multiple projects, yet works well as part of a team.  Prior marketing planning and/or special events planning experience is a plus; proficient communication skills and detail orientation.

Quality Control Manager

We have a full time position available for a person with experience in facilitating development, implementation and training for comprehensive systems to ensure food safety and sanitation in our warehouse.  Responsibilities will include conducting risk-based food safety/sanitation/quality systems audits; reviewing corrective action for the audit deficiencies and monitoring the status of corrective actions ensuring that we are operating in compliance with operational/product policies, regulations and procedures.  Must have good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills; proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
