Now that it’s time for graduation, our Food Service Training Academy students look forward to putting their newly acquired skills to use. We’ve been keeping up with the daily challenges they face (personal and academic) and their accomplishments. We know that the intensive program has provided them with the tools to follow their dreams and, for many, the opportunity to have a second chance.
Nestor told us that the program has changed his life and has even strengthened his bond with his daughter, who also aspires to enter the food service industry. “I definitely know that without the program, I probably would have still had a lot of sharp edges,” he said.
